Maximum Discount For Group Employers Raised to 53 Percent

The Ohio Bureau of Worker’s compensation voted to set the maximum discount for both group and non-group employers at 53 percent, and eliminate the break-even factor beginning July 1, 2012. Previously the group and non-group maximum discount was 51%.

The simplified pricing for the Group Rating Program allows savings that are consistent with actuarial parameters and allows employers to accurately plan for their future.
